The weeks on chart is the total number of weeks between the song entering the UK pop singles charts getting to the number one spot, and then leaving the UK charts. However it does not take into account previous less successful attempts at a chart run or subsequent re-entry's. This listing records unbroken chart runs which may be spread over christmas and into the next new year.

Historical note; Rolf Harris had the first number one of the 70's which obviously was the last number one of the 60's. Rolf also sang on the Band Aid 2 version of Do They Know its Christmas? which was the last number one of the 80's and first of the 90's. Which means that with two records Rolf Harris has been at the top of the UK music charts in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Although Pro Mobile Disco has highly experienced 70s party DJs we are not perfect so we apologise for any possible errors that may appear. Pro Mobile Disco therefore recommend the information contained within this listing is only viewed as a guide to 1970s chart music and not a source of reference.
