70s Music Mobile Disco

The number one chart hits of 1974 includes some dreary ballads but disco dance music from artistes like George McCrea, Carl Douglas and Barry White start to make it to pole position. The charts of 1974 show that Glam rock was giving way to Disco. Following Euro vision ABBA's first UK release Waterloo gets to number one, although ABBA mania was still a thing of the future; ABBA's next two singles only just make the top 40. In the 70s Christmas records where a big thing and the first and last number one hits of 1974 where Christmas classics. Slades Merry Christmas everybody will be a must play record at any Christmas office party this year.
